Melanie & Bobby -- Hitched!

Where do I even begin with this one, guys? I can't begin to tell you how excruciatingly hard it was to pick different photos to put in this post--I wanted to put all of them in! I whittled it down to a healthy handful, but I still feel like I could've put in more...Melanie & Bobby's day was just beautiful. The energy throughout the day was so much fun, and I had an absolute blast spending their big day with them.

The wedding took place in Melanie's parents' front yard--her childhood home--which was the perfect backdrop for such a lovely day. I have to give Melanie a ton of credit...when I first arrived, I expected her to already be in hair & make-up, but she was still setting things up in the tent & hauling things from the house. I think the best part was that she had a huge smile on her face the entire time. If she was nervous or anxious, it didn't show for a second.

I still can't believe their engagement photos were so many months ago. I'm so happy that they asked me to photograph their wedding day!

See that chalkboard on the right? I did it! Trust me--my duties go much further than photographer for my brides :)

Melanie & Bobby opted for a first look, & it was so sweet! The front of her parent's house was the perfect backdrop for the moment.

How amazing is that arbor?! Her uncle built it!

Melanie's dad also cut this stump down for her & they carved their initials into it. Love!
Later in the night, we also got to play with SPARKLERS!

I've decided that every wedding should have confetti cannons.

A huge congratulations to Melanie & Bobby on their marriage. I wish you two nothing but the best of luck, the happiest of days, & the greatest of laughs.
