I had such a fun maternity shoot yesterday with my cousin Garett & his wife Ashley. You may remember their beautiful wedding from last April! Nothing makes me happier than when past couples contact me to continue documenting their major life milestones, and I think this shoot was the perfect kick starter to several maternity shoots that I have coming up. 

It's so much fun seeing our family expand, and I know that Gavin is going to be thick as thieves with his new little brother, Grayson. Click the cut to see more!

Scott contacted me a few weeks ago inquiring about doing some maternity photos for him and his girlfriend Sheila. I immediately jumped on the opportunity--I went to a small Catholic high school, and Scott was in my class. Since I only graduated with 80-some other students, everyone grows really close in 4 years, and Scott was no exception.

I was honored to take his & Sheila's (and Michael's and Casey's! :)) photos. Baby Abigail is going to come into the world and become part of such a loving, amazing family. Click the cut for more!

I had an awesome maternity shoot this morning with Erin, Ryan, and Mason. I've known Erin for a few years now and distinctly remember her first pregnancy with Mason--it's not easy working with 20 kindergarteners when you're 8 months pregnant! 

As with her first pregnancy, though, Erin is glowing. She's such a great mom to Mason, and the love her and Ryan share shows in everything they do. Click the cut to see more photos!

Michelle contacted me a few months ago, inquiring about whether or not I did maternity photos. Now, I won't lie--I was initially a mixture of excitement and absolute panic. I had never taken maternity photos before, and (as with every initial photo job) I was exceedingly nervous that I'd screw it up. But I collected my thoughts, gained my composure, and started to scour the internet for ideas.

Thankfully Michelle & Frank had faith in me, and we had a blast documenting their pregnancy! After a quick tour of Noah's nursery, we  (well, they) braved the frigid February winds and headed out to Wheaton Village. Despite my lack of experience in this particular area of photography, I'm quite pleased with how they came out. I also want to thank Frank & Michelle for letting me go for it & being on board with my ideas. They were a joy to work with & I can't wait to meet the newest member of their family :)
