Megan & Tim were married over fourth of July weekend at Normandy Farms in Pennsylvania. Megan's eye for detail and passion for marrying Tim was evident from the start--these high school sweethearts were so wonderful to work with and even I felt like it was a long time coming! It was also my first time shooting at Normandy Farms, and I was so impressed with this little slice of rustic heaven. It was the perfect backdrop for their elegant country wedding!

Katie and Ryan's wedding day at Eastlyn Golf Course was absolute perfection. They flew all the way in from Wyoming to get married in their hometown, and it was definitely worth the trip. There wasn't a cloud in the sky, and the weather was divine. The most important part of the day, though, was how much these two love each other. When Ryan saw his soon-to-be wife at their first look, his reaction was amazing--he was so excited and couldn't keep his eyes off of her, and it was just perfect! Amanda and I loved shooting their big day for them, and it was so hard to pick a few highlights to share (there were too many good ones to narrow down!). Eastlyn (as always) put on a spectacular shindig, and Kenny I's band had the dance floor packed all night!

Cindy & Rico know the importance of family. From their own daughter, all the way to Cindy's own mother, the familial vibe that they give off is palpable. They had to move their wedding day up, and it went from a big, fancy affair, to a perfect, intimate backyard wedding. I truly think it encompassed them perfectly. The weather was wonderful and everyone rallied together to make their day memorable and beautiful.

I don't usually shoot solo, but I'm kind of glad I did for this wedding...it really opened my eyes to just how special Rico & Cindy's wedding day was, and it was an honor to shoot it for them.

Nothing makes my heart happier than photographing a close friend's wedding. It's like being on a rollercoaster--you get all of the juicy details beforehand, and help them stay calm when things go awry, and rejoice with them when something exciting happens. When the big day finally arrives, it's like watching a wonderful memory unfold--all of the little things that you discussed with your friend are little sparks of excitement throughout the entire day. Ashley & Ray's wedding was exactly that. From start to finish, it was so heartwarming to see Ashley's excitement to marry her best friend. Everything we've ever talked about made for the perfect wedding day for them. The Hotel DuVillage put on an amazing wedding, and we even got some snow! Magic is the perfect word to describe the day.

I love these two. I had them on my calendar a year well in advance of their big day, and it lived up to every expectation I had. Even with the gloomy weather in the morning, it created a wonderful autumn moodiness later in the day for their ceremony and for pictures afterwards. Not to mention that their personalities outshone any glumness.

Long time, no blog--am I right?! It's been a while since Colin & Ashley's gorgeous Abbie Holmes Estate wedding, but I've finally had some downtime to actually blog about it! It was so wonderful to shoot this wedding--I'd been eagerly anticipating it since they're Cape May engagement session almost a full year beforehand! Getting to know them throughout the year before their big day was definitely something I treasure. They're both such wonderful people with a wicked sense of humor & such a relaxed approach to things.
